    Language Pints
    (1)ill 指“生病”,可作表语,一般不作定语。ill 如果作定语,则意为“坏的;有害的”。
    His mther is ill. 他的妈妈生病了。
    There is a sick baby in the rm. 在房间里有一个生病的婴儿。(sick作定语)Li Ming has been sick fr tw weeks. 李明病了两周了。(sick作表语)
    (2)sick 意为“生病的”,既可以作定语,也可以作表语。
    当sick意为 “恶心的;想吐的”时, 用作表语或补足语。
    The smell made him sick. 这种气味使他恶心。
    S 意为“也是;也一样”,以 s 开头的句子,说明前面的内容也适用于后者,常用倒装句“s + be / have / 助动词 / 情态动词 + 主语”。
    2. S is next week and next year. 下周和明年也是这样。
    She has been t Dalian, s have I. 她去过大连,我也去过。
    但当表示同意对方的看法时,意为“是的;确实”,表示对前面陈述事实的强调,用“s + 主语 + be / have / 助动词 / 情态动词”句式,即主谓不倒装。

    如果表示前面的情况“不……”, 后面的情况和前面的情况一样“也不……”时,把s改为neither / nr,结构为neither / nr + 助动词 / 情态动词 / be动词 + 主语。
