《LESSON 9》教学设计 The main topic in this lesson is asking and answering the time that someone get up. It's the continuation of last lesson. 【知识和能力目标】(1)Be able to listen, speak, read, write words :o’clock, when.(2)Be able to understand, speak phrase :get up.(3)Be able to understand, speak sentence :When do you get up?/ I get up at…o’clock/what time is it?”【过程和方法目标】(1)Develop the students’ ability of listening , speaking , reading and singing .(2)Be able to relate to life realities, describe time in English.(3)Understand the two dialogues and use them flexibly in the situation.【情感态度价值观目标】(1)Develop the students’ interesting in learning English .(2)Connect English with life, feel the application.. 【教学重点】(1) Key vocabulary :o’clock, when,get up.(2) Key sentence :When do you get up? --- I get up at seven o’clock.【教学难点】New structure: ---When do you get up? --- I get up at seven o’clock. Tape recorder, Multimedia Step 1:warm-upGreeting The teacher and students greet each other in English.Step 2: presentation1.Lead-in.(1)Show some pictures of clocks, ask students to say the times, lead out the new phrase: seven o’clock.Lead students to say :It’s seven o’clock.(2)Ask students to look at the screen and listen the tinkle of the clock, lead out the new phrase: get up.2.Learn it.(1)Lead students to say :It’s seven o’clock.(2)Let students ask classmates to get up one by one. Lead them to answer: OK!(3)To points at the clock and tells students: I get up at six o’clock, ask one student: When do you get up? Lead him to look at the clock and say : I get up at seven o’clock. 3.Work in pairs.Students will be divided into a set of two people to finish a dialogue.(1) Give students several minutes to work in pairs . (2) Ask pairs of students to act the dialog in this part .(3)Ask students to look at the screen, use the phrases to replace the dialogue, for example: dance, play soccer...... (4)Students will be divided into a set of two people to finish a dialogue.4. Listen and check.According to the textbook exercise, there are two small situation dialog in the textbook. (1)The teacher plays the recording。(2)Students listen to the tape carefully and select the corresponding number.(3)Present the correct answer through PPT.(4)Then teacher replays the tape, students read follow her.5.Ask and answer.In this part,there are several situations that at different time.Student A asks:What time is it?Student B answers:It’s seven o’clock.I get up at seven o’clock.6.Let’s sing.Seven o’clock. Seven o’clock.Get up,Jimmy. Get up,Jimmy.Seven o’clock. Seven o’clock.I get up at seven o’clock. Step3: HomeworkPreview Lesson 10 . 略。
