Step 3: vcabulary exercise[来源:学*科*网]
Give the students a few minutes t finish the exercise n page 10 abut vcabulary. Make them pay attentin t the right frm f the wrds. Fr example, the secnd wrd shuld be “friends”--- the plural frm f friend because “friend ”is a cuntable nun and is mdified by “sme”. Fr the third and fifth blankets, we shuld use the “singular frm” because the usage f the simple present tense. Remind the students f the subjects. Ensure the students can understand the meaning f all the sentences.
Step 4: Practice
1) Prject sme pictures abut the class first. Ask the students t describe what they see in the pictures and talk abut their likes and dislikes.
2) Shw the pictures f clthes in different clurs. Make the students make up dialgues in pairs. Then write a shrt passage abut what they talked with each ther.
Step 5: Review exercise
D what is required in the textbk. Draw a timeline t shw the first tw weeks f using this Student Bk. On the bttm f the timeline, write what happened t the characters in the bk. On the tp, write what happened t the student. Guide the students fulfill the task successfully. Help them use the prper frm f the verbs (past frms).
Step 6: Activity bk
Finish ff all the exercises in students’ activity bk.
Step 7: Class Review Activity
Have the class games as a review activity.
