Snoopy, the famous cartoon dog, is from the Peanuts comic strip (连环漫画). Produced by Charles Schulz, Peanuts was one of the longest comic strips ever.

Charles Schulz was born in November, 1922 in the US.   1    Charles’s father found that and asked his son to take a class in cartoon.

During World War II, Charles went to the military (军队).   2   It was helpful in his work as an artist later. After the war, Charles began to draw a weekly comic strip for a local newspaper.

Then the cartoons became so popular and they reached readers in 75 countries and in 21 languages! Charles’s Peanuts seems to be drawn for children.   4   That’s why both children and adults around the world love his work.

Charles drew every Peanuts strip by himself.   5    After nearly 50 years of drawing, the world-famous artist put down his brushes in January 2000. On February 12th, 2000, Charles Schulz passed away.

I like many cartoon characters and the Monkey King, Tintin and Snoopy are three of them. The Monkey King is a character of the cartoon Havoc in Heaven. He is brave, clever and funny.
