1.view suffixes ‘-ment’, ‘-ness’, ‘-in’
2. Review the bject clause:

e.g.1 His name is Tm. I am sure. →I’m sure (that) his name is Tm.2 What is yur name? I dn’t knw. →I dn’t knw what yur name is.
Presentatin T: What des yur father d?S1:My father is a wrker.T: What des S1 say ? (t Ss) What did S1 say just nT& Ss: S1 says that his father is a wrker. S1 said that his father is a wrker.
学生活动方式:
Change the sentences.
教师活动方式:
We can use reprted speech t tell peple what smene else said. We d nt need t change the tense if we are reprting a fact r if the infrmatin is still true. Hwever, we may still need t change the prnun.

Listen and make ntes.

1. The teacher tld his students that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.When d yu d yur hmewrk?
2. Divide the class int pairs. Tell students t ask each ther the fllwing questins:
What is yur favurite sprt?

Tell students t write dwn what their partner says using reprted speech
3. Ask a few students t present infrmatin abut their partners t listen
