第一课时
一、教学内容
填补缺失信息句，提炼段落主题大意，思考太空探索的挑战和意义。
二、课时目标
1. 理解文本标题含义，预测文本内容。
2. 通过阅读和分析，了解文本文体，辨识段落的主题句，分析关键句和关键信息，提炼段落的主题大意，熟悉和掌握基本的阅读策略。
3. 通过深入挖掘和探讨，思考人类面临的挑战和太空探索的意义。
三、教学过程
Activity 1：Activating the backgrund knwledge related t space
本活动旨在为落实课时目标1作铺垫。

Activity 2: Understanding the title and predicting the cntent f the text.

本活动旨在落实课时目标2。
1. Read the whle passage and figure ut the writing style f the text, meanwhile, fill in the missing blanks with the given sentences.
2. Figure ut the inner lgic between each paragraph and explain the reasn fr each chice.

本活动旨在落实课时目标3。

【设计说明】通过小组讨论降低难度，培养学生的合作精神。学生通过讨论思考太空探险的种种困难和挑战，如：宇航员的生理挑战及心理挑战、科学家的技术挑战，政府的财政挑战等。太空探索给人类带来的好处可以通过举例说明，如：GPS，智能手机，气象卫星，新材料，外太空资源等。
Assignment:

2. Read the text again and review what has been learned in the class.

一、教学内容
本节课围绕dream bigger, explre deeper的主线，理清正文每个段落的层次，以记叙文的形式描写宇航员的一次经历，达到语言和内容的有效提升。
二、课时目标
1. 通过深入阅读了解人类探索太空梦想的原因及国内外在该领域的主要成就，并关注段落中信息标记词的功能。
2. 通过阅读和探讨，了解太空探索的风险和意义。
3. 利用课文中描写事件序列的功能性语言，结合某一太空探索的实例，生成一篇记叙文文本。
