Actin Taken by City Residents t Help Prtect the Envirnment
Last August, city fficials interviewed abut 500 residents t find ut peple’s attitudes t prtecting the envirnment and what actins they had taken.Here are the results:
As the diagram shws, the percentage f thse wh felt that they needed t help prtect the envirnment is as high as 96%. Very few (4%) felt it was nt necessary. Mre than half f thse wh tk part in the survey had dne fur f the five activities in the past mnth. Arund 90% have tried t recycle waste such as glass, metal and paper; and mre than tw thirds (70%) have tried t cut back n the use f dispsable packaging, such as plastic hney bttles, and butter and yghurt cntainers. Als, the majrity f residents had cycled r walked.
Unfrtunately, nt as many wh tk part have taken actin t save water and energy in their hmes.Just under 40% (38%) tried t save water when they were washing dishes r taking shwers. Just ver half (51%) tried t save energy by reducing the use f air cnditining r turning ff lights.
T sum up, it seems that almst all wh tk part understand the need t help take care f the envirnment. Mst f them try t recycle waste, ride bikes and walk, and reduce the use f dispsable packaging. Hwever, nt as many are saving water and energy. This indicates that the residents need t pay mre attentin t these tw activities.

The survey shws that abut 46% f senirs prefer bks t snacks (37%)and playing games (31%). On the ther hand, nly 32% f junirs will spend their pcket mney buying bks, while ver a half buy snacks and 46% spend n playing games. Bth senirs and junirs wuld nt waste t much mney in clthes r put it in banks.
In my pinin, eating t many snacks will nt nly make us put n weight but als d harm t ur health. In additin, if we play games withut limit, we’ll lse much precius time, which results in lw grades. Furthermre, the mney is hard-earned. I hpe we students value ur mney as well as ur time.
