Step 1: Warm up
Free talk
用恰当的词形容一个人或形容你所知道的伦敦。
Step 2: Presentatin
1. Revise adjectives.
Tell the students that I am ging t say an adjective. They have t find smething in their bks that the adjective describes. Ask tw r three students t say which bject they chse.
Example：
T: It’s big.
S1: (pints t Lndn) Lndn.
S2: (pints t elephant) Elephant.
S3: (pints t Beijing) Beijing.
D mre examples with the class.
2. Listen and say.
(1) Listen, pint and find ut the new wrds and underline them. Then revise thse using cards r pictures. (Write dwn these wrds n the bard.)
(2) After ding this, tell the students t clse their bks. I am ging t say the first wrd f a tw-wrd place name. These places are all in Lndn. The students have t say the secnd wrd f the tw-wrd name.
Example:
T: Buckingham…
Ss: …Palace.
T: Hyde…
Ss:…Park.
(3) Have the students cntinue the activity in pairs. They shuld take turn t say the first wrd.
(4) Shwing fur pictures n the screen abut "the River Thames", "Big Ben", "Hyde Park", and "Twer Bridge". (Write dwn these wrds.)
The same time, I am ging t read the text fr the students. Have them remember the sentences.
The secnd times, ask sme students t intrduce the pictures.
Step 3: Teacher-student interactin
1. Shwing Part3 n the screen. Have the students lk at the picture and describe it (children playing a game).
2. Tell the students that this sng, 'Lndn Bridge is falling dwn' is a traditinal English sng. Explain that Lndn Bridge is a very famus bridge in Lndn.
3. Play the spken versin f the sng and have the students repeat each line. Play the tape and have the students sing the sng.
4. Explain the actins and have the class sing the sng again. Chse sme students t cme t the frnt and play it. Let’s see "Wh is the winner?"
5. Have the students sing and d the actins after class.
6. Games:
Tell the students that I am ging t say adjectives and they have t think f sme places in China that these adjectives describe.
Example:
T: Old.
S1: Great Wall.
S2: Palace Museum.
Step 5: Hmewrk
1、抄写课文第11页的句子，每句抄写2次。
2、了解英国的四大名胜古迹
