    T: (Take ut a bx filled with schl things and pick ut a pencil. T can put sme pencils, sme pencil-cases, and sme rulers and s n in the bx.) A pencil, a pencil, this is a pencil. (Stress “this” and “pencil”.) What’s this in English? (Write the sentence n the blackbard and stress “this”.)

    T: Yes, it is a pencil. What’s this in English? (Stress “this”.)
    S: A pencil.
    T: D yu have a pencil? (Hld the pencil up and pint t it.)
    S: Yes.
    T: Shw it t me, OK? (Shw the pse f “OK” and try t lead the Ss t d it as T.) OK? (Stress “OK”.)
    S: OK.
    T: Nw, hld yur pencil up (Stress “pencil”) and say after me “What’s this in English”?
    S: What’s this in English?
    T: This is a pencil. (Write “This is…” n the blackbard.)

    T: It is a pencil. (Write “It is…” n the blackbard.)

    T: Gd. What’s that in English? (Pint t S1’s pencil and write the wrd “that” under the wrd “this” n the blackbard and stress it.)

    T: What’s that in English? (Pint t S2’s pencil and stress “that”.)

    T: Gd. Pint t yur friend’s pencil and say after me “What’s that in English?” (Stress “that”.)

    In this way, the teacher takes all the schl things ut f the bx and teaches the students hw t say schl things in English. Let ne r tw students, if time permits, let mre t cme t the frnt t put the schl things int the bx r pick them ut f the bx and say the names f the things. If the students dn’t make any mistakes, T can give sme small gifts t them.
