【探究总结】 (一)延续性动词 表示行为或过程能持久地继续下去或能产生持久的影响, 可以和“一段时间”连用。常见的延续性动词有: wrk, keep, have, sleep, live, stay等。例如: They’ve learnt English fr five years. 他们已经学习英语五年了。
(二)非延续性动词 1. 定义: 又称短暂性动词或终止性动词, 这类动词表示行为或过程是短暂的或瞬时完成结束。常见的非延续性动词有: pen, die, clse, cme, g, mve, brrw, lend, buy, arrive, leave, jin, kill, lend, marry, reach等。它们不能和“一段时间”连用。
2. 用法: 非延续性动词可以用于when引导的时间状语从句中, 但不可以用于while引导的时间状语从句中。when表示的时间是“点时间”(从句谓语动词用非延续性动词)也可以是“段时间”(从句谓语动词用延续性动词)。而while表示的是一个较长的时间或过程, 从句谓语动词一般只能用延续性动词。
(三)延续性动词与非延续性动词的转换非延续性动词的完成时态表示动作完成并产生了影响和结果。一般不能与表示延续的时间段短语“fr. . . ”或“since. . . ”以及“Hw lng. . . ”连用。如果和“一段时间”连用, 则要把短暂性动词变成相应的延续性动词。详见下表:
