Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains.The Second Period Section A 3a–3c Teaching aims（教学目标）1．掌握基本的阅读技能2. 了解中国四大名著之一之西游记3. 学如何讲故事 Language points（语言点）1 要求掌握以下句式: This is because he can make 72 changes to his shape and size.                   Unless he can hide his tail, he can’t turn himself into a person.                    To fight bad people, the Monkey King uses a magic stick.                   Sometimes he can make the stick so small that he can keep it in his ear.                                            2．要求掌握以下词汇： （1）动词：turn ... into ..., hide, excite, （2）名词：object, tail, stick, （3）形容词：magic, Western, traditional, normal,  （本节课的生词较少，而且单词的拼写比较简单，所以学生学起来不会感到困难，如果班级学生的水平较高，可以鼓励学生当堂掌握。）Difficulties（难点）：学会用过去式讲故事Teaching steps（教学步骤） 1.
