I. Language Study
Teacher writes the pattern n the blackbard:
-- Hw d yu study fr an English test?
-- I study fr a test by + V.-ing
Make a list f their answers n the blackbard. Teacher can teach the “vcabulary” and “prnunciatin” at the right time.
II. 1a
1.Check the answers, after checking, read the ways t the students and ask students t put up their hands t shw which things they checked. Cunt the numbers.
2. Ask students t write dwn ther ways they study fr an English test. Then ask sme t read their ways t the class.
III. 1b
1. Play the tape.
2. Check the answers with the students.
3. Read the sample answer t the class and ask students t say the ther tw.
Step3 Cnslidatin and extensin
1. Read the instructins and the cnversatin t the class, and then ask students t make similar cnversatins.
2. Ask sme pairs t present their cnversatins.
3. Small cmpetitin: grup in fur, make sentences using structure (verb + by/with gerund).
4.Make a survey : ne student interview ther students using the structures (Hw d yu study …? I study by + v-ing .)
