课堂设计 | 一、目标展示 1.Key vocabulary: expression (n),discover(v), secret(n),grammar(n) 2.The usage of key phrases:so…that ,by doing sth.,because of 3.Talk about some ways of learning English using key sentences: (1) Why did Wei Fen find it difficult to learn English? (2) 主语+find+宾 语+adj.+to do sth. 二、预习检测 Translate these phrases: 1. 如此……以至于…… 2. 害怕做…… 3. 由于……;因为…… 4. 爱上了…… 5. 关键词 6. 查(字典) 7. 以便…… 8. 有趣的对话 三、质疑探究 小组讨论so…that…/so that用法 so…that…意为“如此……以至于……”,引导结果状语从句,so后用形容词或副词原形。so…that(not)=too...to...太....而不能.... 四、精讲点拨 辨析invent,discover, find,find out , invent意为发明,指以前不存、现在开发出的一种新事物。 discover意为“发现”,一般指发现以前不知道但存在的事物,强调其探索性。 find意为“找到、发现”,指找到或发现自己所需要的东西或丢失的东西,着重指找到的结果 find out意为查明,指通过观察、探索而发现事物的真相,多指发现无形的、 隐秘的事请。 五、当堂检:Fill in the blanks with invent,discover, find,find out 1.
