Play the tape for the students and find out the answer:   What’s Millie’s problem? (She has a lot of homework everyday.) 2. Listen again and check the answer with the whole class. Step4.Reading practice 1. Read Millie’s letter aloud. Ask students to listen carefully to you and follow the text on page 36. Ask questions to check understanding, e.g.What is Millie’s favorite hobby? (volleyball and music)What does Millie doubt? (She doubts whether it is worth spending so much time on her homework.)What does she dream of? (She dreams of a long holiday.)2.
