Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Lead-in Ask students some questions.
Ask students what kind of these questions they are and ask them to present more questions like these. Step2.Presentation T: Who wants to know the answers to these questions. I want to know _________________. I wonder______________________. Explain to students: We use a question word to introduce an object clause that expresses a wh-question. The word order in the clause should be the same as that in a statement. Ask students to read the five sentences p/40 and read them aloud. Tell students the differences between who and whom. Step3.Practice Ask students to do the exercise in Part A1 Check the answer Ask students to work out the rule Ask students to do the exercise in Part A2 and then check the answer Ask students to do the exercise in Part A3 and then check the answer Step4.Activity Divide the class into two groups and play a game. TeamA: Could you tell me--- TeamB: Could you tell me when you went to bed yesterday? TeamA: I wonder TeamB: I wonder who your best friend is.
Step5.Presentation(Giving suggestions) T: My friend is a youth worker and he has helped many students. He gives them a lot of useful and helpful advice. Let’s see how he gives advice to the students. Ask students to find more sentences on how to give advice on page39. e.g. What about choosing your hobby according to the time you have. Why not just play football for an hour or two, and then go home? Ask students to read the sentences on page 42 and tell students we can use the following sentences to give suggestions. Why not---? Why don’t you---? What about/How about--- Let’s --- Shall we--- Perhaps--- Step6.Practice Ask the students to finish the exercise on page 42. Check the answer in pairs. Read the dialogue aloud. Step7.Practice Work in groups of two and make a dialogue like Sandy and Amy. Step8. Homework.: Do the exercise in the exercise book. | 二次备课 引导学生说出其他疑问词提问,如:when did you go to bed yesterday? 提醒学生注意除了what/how about …句型中动词要使用-ing形式,其余都用动词原形,除了let’s…句型以句号结尾,其余的都是问句 |
教学反思:还要让学生多熟练掌握有连接代词和连接副词引导的宾从句以及提建议句型的基本用法以及提建议的句型与他人 交流。
