Many trees dn't have any leaves. (板书)
“Leaves”, d yu remember? What’s the meaning? Can yu read it? Read and spell it. Recite it. “leaf” is the singular frm.

S: They are new.

“lse”, what’s the meaning? Here, it means “失去”.
