    Explanatin:
    In this sentence, film-making is cmpared t an iceberg as they share sme similarities. As we can see nly a small part f a huge iceberg ut f the cean, what we see n the screen when seeing a film, is als just a small part f film-making. A huge amunt f wrk lies unknwn t the audience, just like the rest f the iceberg is hidden beneath the cean. Using a metaphr, the film critic clearly cnveys t the audience the large amunt f wrk that has been dne behind the scenes in film-making.
    A metaphr cmpares ne thing t anther withut using “as” r “like”. It draws the reader’s attentin t the similarities between tw things. This way, unfamiliar things can be explained with smething peple are mre familiar with.
    Examples f a metaphr
    I’m drwning in a sea f grief. Here grief is s verwhelming that the persn feels helpless, like they’re being pulled underwater.
    He brke my heart. Yur heart isn’t literally brken; yu’re just feeling hurt and sad.
    Yu light up my life. Of curse, n ne can prvide physical light. This expressin is simply saying that smene brings them jy.
    He is the apple f my eye. There is, f curse, n apple in smene’s eye. The apple is smene held dear.
    She has such a bubbly persnality. N ne’s persnality can bubble up like a glass f champagne. This metaphr is used t signify smene wh’s especially cheerful.
    Hpe is n the hrizn. Hpe is an intangible thing that desn't bb alng the hrizn. This metaphr indicates gd things are in ne's future.

James Camern spent a lt f time researching the real Titanic in rder t get its precise measurements and ther imprtant details befre building the mdel that was used in his film.
