在口语中感叹句常常省略主语和 谓语部分，有时只用一个词或一 个短语。如： What a useful bk! 多么有用的书啊！ Hw exciting! 多令人兴奋啊！
注意：hw 修饰形容词、副词 , what 修饰名词 。

注意 : 下列短语的用法

注意: 句中含有修饰形容词的副词如： s, t, quite, very, pretty, really 等词时，改为感叹句后 都得去掉。

陈述句变感叹句把一个陈述句变为感叹句，可用“一分、二加、三换位、四改号”的方法。一分是在谓语动词后把句子分成两部分。二加是在第二部分前根据不同句型要求加上hw或what。值得注意的是如有very, t, quite, s, pretty, really 等词应去掉。三换位是把改变后的第一、二部分前后调整位置。注意句中有关单词的大小写。四改号是把原来的句号改为感叹号。如：
① He is / a gd student. → He is (what) a gd student. →② She wrks / very hard. → She wrks (hw) hard. →3.Our teacher lks very handsme.
What a gd student he is！

what和hw引导的感叹句有时可以相互转换。 What a beautiful girl she is! = Hw beautiful the girl is! Hw ht the tea is! = What ht tea it is!
但是句子中有行为动词时不能互换。
