Language pints
hw much意为“多少”，常用于询问价格。如果询问的是可数名词单数或不可数名词的价格, 后面的be动词形式用is；如果询问的是可数名词复数的价格，be 动词形式用are。
【链接】hw much 也通常用来询问数量, 后接不可数名词。 例句：Hw much water is there in the bttle? 瓶子里有多少水？ Hw much salad is there in the bwl? 碗里有多少沙拉？
如修饰可数名词问数量，则用hw many。例句：Hw many apples are there in the bag? 袋子里有多少苹果？
2) scks, shes, shrts, trusers这类物品常常成对出 现, 所以它们作主语时, 和它们搭配的谓语动词用 复数形式。
例句：Are thse trusers Jim’s? 那是吉姆的裤子吗？ The shrts are 58 dllars. 这条短裤58美元。
