就句子中的某一部分提问的疑问句，就叫特殊疑问句。因大多数疑问词均以wh-开头，所以特殊疑问句又被称为wh-问句。 疑问词按词性可以分为疑问副词和疑问代词。疑问词有what, wh, why, when等。
疑问代词：what, wh 疑问副词：when, why
①可单独用于询问姓名、年龄、号码、计算结果、物品等。 例：What’s yur name? ②也可与其它名词subject, fd, clr等“组合”询问更为具体的信息。 例：What clr des he like?
what作疑问代词，意为 “什么” 。用于询问“某物/某事”。
wh作疑问代词，意为“谁”。用于询问“某人” ，在句中可作主语、宾语、表语。作主语时，谓语动词多用单数形式。 whm意为“谁”，只在句中作宾语； whse意为“谁的”，只在句中作定语。 例：Wh is in the classrm? (作主语) Wh/Whm are they talking with? (作宾语)
when作疑问副词，意为“什么时候；何时”。用于询问年、月、日、星期这样的时间。 例：— When is yur birthday? — It’s n June 5th .
why作疑问副词，意为 “为什么” 。用于询问原因时，用 because 引导的句子回答，意为 “因为……” 例：— Why d yu like P.E.? — Because it’s fun.

特殊疑问句一般由“疑问词+一般疑问句…？”构成（提问主语部分的疑问句除外） 例：Why d yu like P.E.? Hw d yu spell it?
Wh-疑问句中助动词的使用规律
1. 特殊疑问词放在最前面；2. 如果有动词 be，直接主谓倒置；3. 如无动词 be，则要借助助动词 d 或des。
特殊疑问句在回答时不能用yes/n来回答，可以使用完整答语，也可以只回答提问部分。 —When d yu usually g t the library? —I usually g there n Sunday. /On Sunday.
