The erhu is a kind f traditinal Chinese musical instrument invented in the Tang Dynasty. Hua Yanjun and Liu Tianhua were tw well-knwn erhu artists and cmpsers. The mst famus piece f music created by Hua Yanjun is Mnlight n the Secnd Spring. Liu Tianhua was famus fr Mn Night and Birdsng ver Empty Muntain.
The Pian was invented in Italy in the early 18th century. Mzart was an Austrian cmpser, famus fr Symphny N. 41 and Pian Cncert N. 23. Chpin was a Plish cmpser and pianist, famus fr the Minute Waltz.

Let’s take Hua Yanjun fr example. Hua Yanjun, als knwn as A Bing, was a native artist f Wuxi. At an early age, he learnt Taism music. Shwing a talent fr music, he was sn able t play a variety f musical instruments. He lived a very pr life and later became blind. In rder t make a living, he played the erhu while begging n the street. All thrugh his life, he cmpsed many pieces f music and his mst famus ne is Mnlight n the Secnd Spring. It is said that the “Secnd Spring” in the title f the piece refers t the Huishan Spring, where A Bing ften perfrmed t make mney.
The dizi (Chinese bamb flute) is a classical Chinese wdwind instrument that is a staple f Chinese flk music. It is als cmmnly used in Chinese pera and the mdern Chinese rchestra tday. Zhang Weiliang is ne f the leading perfrmers n the dizi and he launched the Chinese Bamb Flute Orchestra. I was deeply mved by his musical piece Tears fr Flwers when I first listened t it.
The vilin is a very ppular musical instrument which has been arund fr hundreds f years. Nwadays, there are electrnic vilins that can create the mst amazing sunds and music pieces. Hwever, I am a big fan f the mre classical vilin pieces, like The Fur Seasns by Antni Vivaldi. He uses the vilin t describe each f the fur seasns very well. “Spring” is my favurite f the fur-part piece.
Hw d yu feel when yu listen t Birdsng ver Empty Muntain and Symphny N. 41?
Appreciatin
When I listen t Birdsng ver Empty Muntain, the gentle sund f the erhu makes me feel very relaxed and happy. It transprts me t the muntains where the sweet sunds f birds singing can be heard.
When I listen t Mzart’s Symphny N. 41, it makes me feel full f energy. I felt s struck and amazed that I didn’t realize the music was ver. It is fun t listen t.
