Any family who has traveled to Disney World in the middle of summer has experienced the challenges of this vacation. The summer crowds and burning heat can make it a frustrating place for many people. Families with autistic (患自闭症的)children face even greater problems.

Flying squirrels can be found in most of the Earth's forests, hut you probably wouldn't be able to actually find one. These little animals are expert at hiding when they are flying. But recently, a Sino-Australian team has discovered a new species of flying squirrel in a national nature reserve in southwest China*s Yunnan Province.
Like its relatives, the new guy weighs between 3 and 4 pounds. The new species has been added to the rarest and most “wanted” group of flying squirrels listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature （IUCN） and the Global Wildlife Conservation（GWC）.
Previous to the finding, the group only consists of two species. According to Li Quan, the first writer of the paper and a member of the Kunming Institute of Zoology, the team has discovered two specimens （标 本）of the new flying squirrel species. They also used monitoring cameras to capture the images of a live squirrel. Il was discovered in the 1, 250-km “blank area” between the isolated^孤立的）habitats of the two previously found species. "It means that it is possible that there are more populations of this group in the area, " said Li. He and his team are hoping to discover more squirrels in the area, and soon.

World No Tobacco Day is celebrated each 31 st of May. The aim is to bring attention to the growing use of tobacco and its deadly effects. The World Health Assembly started the event in 1987. This year, special attention is being given to the harmful effects of tobacco marketing to women and girls.
The WHO says the tobacco industry has increasingly directed its marketing campaigns (活动)at women and girls. Study shows that women currently represent (代表)about twenty percent of smokers while tobacco use among girls is increasing. Data colleeted from 151 countries show that about seven percent of young girls now smoke. That compares with twelve percent of boys. In some countries, however, the rates are almost equal.
Almost 170 countries have signed an agreement called the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control which calls on those governments to ban (禁止)tobacco advertising to the fullest to protect women. The agreement seeks to reduce the demand and supply of tobacco products. This year marks the fifth anniversary since the treaty went into effect Up to now, eighty percent of the signers have banned the sale of tobacco products to young people. Today, we saw temperatures in the mid-60s, but this week, the northern part of the country will
reach a low of 45 degrees at night and 50 degrees during the day. It is said that we're not going to see any snow this year. Goodbye snowman. But the temperature will reach a record low this year. Folks, make sure you put on enough clothes before you go outside. We rarely see seven sunny days in a row.
