Jenny was very happy.
Jenny culdn't resist her inner jy, flying int the dr like a bird.
(Jenny
(明喻) Shenzhen is like a melting pt where new ideas are mixed.
(暗喻) Shenzhen is a melting pt where new ideas are mixed.
经常有:like, as, as…as, as if。
Finally I managed t put my whle head int it, like a crk frced int a bttle. 这个句子中,就用到了明喻,“like a crk frced int a bttle”像软木塞进了瓶子里。
Paul lked ut the back windw and saw the wlf standing ver Mac’s bike as if it were a kill.
The smile n her face shne like a diamnd.
I feel like I am flating in an cean f sadness.
你可能会用His face was cld.在这里,我们可以用上之前讲解过的“动作细化”原则,再加上今天学习的比喻,我们看看这个句子的效果如何?I reached ut t tuch her face, which was as cld as the ice.
Her hair was a flwing glden river streaming dwn her shulders.
Stars winked at me in a darkening sky.
The frest is very dark.或者It’s dark in the frest. Immediately, an abslute darkness ruled the frest.
The church has witnessed the city's changes in the past 20 years.
Birds n the tree are singing a beautiful sng.
第一句:My heart was brken 我心碎了。
My heart brke in abut a millin pieces.
好了,我已经猜到了,难道是it’s very cld. It was s cld that…When the men spke, their wrds frze in the air. Everything they said remained frzen all winter lng, and did nt melt until spring.
The rabbit made me jump ut f my skin.
①My heart almst stpped beating when I heard my daughter's vice n the phne.
②I was s hungry that I culd eat a hrse.
③When she heard the bad news, a river f tears pured ut.
举个例子:I lve everybdy.
比如上一句My lve ges t everybdy.
We dn’t think s.If we want light,we must cnquer darkness.
We dn’t think s.If we want light, darkness must be cnquered.
比如:I frgt his name. His name was frgtten by me.
His name slipped my mind.
His name didn't take rt in my mind.
He was s nervus. A wave f nervusness washed ver him.
He was excited.
Life has tld us that-...
Mtherland,always,is drawing the heart f verseas Chinese.
与之对应的动词有:seize(侵袭,突然控制), chke(使哽咽),fld(使大受感动,充满),creep(不知不觉地产生), grip(紧抓),give way t(被…
(1)Panic seized her.
(2)Despair chked her wrds.
(3)A great sense f relief flded ver him.
这类名词有:the twn(镇),the fllwing year(第二年)等。
与之对应的动词有:witness(见证), find, see, bast(有引以为荣的事物)等。
(1)Beijing has witnessed great changes in recent years.
(2)The fllwing year saw the death f his mther.
(3)The twn basts a beautiful lake.
(1)The thick fg blanketed the field.
(2)An earthquake came like a thief in the night, withut warning.
(3)The rain prevented turists frm enjying the full mn.
与之对应的动词有:light up(照亮), brighten(照亮), linger(继续存留), well up(涌出), flash等词。
(1)Her face lit up/brightened when I gave her the present.
(2)Laughter lingered arund the rm.
(3)When he saw the familiar handwriting, tears welled up in his eyes.
与之对应的动词有:strike(打), aruse(唤起),remind, delight, frighten,verwhelm(压倒)等词。
(1)A terrible thught suddenly struck me.
(2)The sight f the scene filled me with hrrr.
