连词：在词、短语、从句或句子之间起连接作用的词。
分类：并列连词和从属连词
and一般用在肯定句 1）和，并且 （连接谓语时态、结构要一致）He std up and put n his hat. I like him and her.2）用在祈使句中。Use yur head, and yu’ll find a way.
r1）和（用在否定句中）I dn’t like apples r bananas.2）或者，还是（用在疑问句中）D yu like apples r bananas?Which d yu prefer, cffee r cke? 3）否则（用于警告和忠告）Get up, r yu will be late fr schl.
but1）但是（用转折关系）She is yung but very experienced. He likes the pian but desn’t like the vilin.2）用于表示歉意的话语之后，表示谢绝或不赞成。I'm srry, but I disagree with yu. That sunds great. But I am nt free.
s 所以， 表示结果。The cat was hungry, s I gave it sme fd.  It was late, s I went hme.   The shp is clsed, s I can't buy the bread.  
bth…and… 和；既……也……Bth Beijing and New Yrk have traffic prblems. either…r… 或……或…… 不是……就是……Either yu r he is right. 不是你就是他是对的。neither…nr… 既不……也不……Neither he nr I speak a freign language. 他和我都不会说外语。
that 引导宾语从句（可以省略）He says (that) he has tld her the thing. 他说他已经告诉了她这件事了。when （当……的时候）引导时间状语从句 When I arrived there, it was raining. 当我到那儿时，天正在下雨。
after/befre 在……之前/在……之后 引导时间状语从句（两者可以相互转化）He came t China after the war was ver. 他来到中国在战争结束之后。The war was ver befre he came t China. 战争已经结束了在他来到中国之前。
because 因为 引导原因状语从句 She didn’t g there, because she was ill. 因为她病了，所以没有去那里。if 如果 引导条件状语从句If anyne calls, tell them I am nt at hme. 如果有人打电话来，就说我不在家。
1、如连接三个或三个以上的单词和词组，and 一般放在最 后一个单词或词组前。 Tm, Jim and I are playing ftball nw. 汤姆，吉姆和我现在正在踢足球。2、由bth…and… 构成的词组作主语时，谓语动词要用复数。 Bth Tm and I are gd at English.
3、s不能和because 并列使用 The cat was hungry, s I gave it sme fd. Because the cat was hungry，I gave it sme fd.4、thugh（虽然） 与but（但是）不能连用 Thugh he was tired, he still wrked hard. He was tired, but he still wrked hard.
5、either…r…和neither…nr…构成的词组作主语时，谓语动词随其邻近的词。即随r/nr后面的主语而定。如： Either yu r I am right. 不是你就是我是对的。 Neither yu nr he is right. 你和他都不对。
