    引导时间状语从句的连词有:when, while, befre, after, as, until, since, as sn as等。
    while 与 when 引导的时间状语从句
    引导的时间状语从句中的动词可以是非延续性动词,也可以是延续性动词,从句多用一般时态。
    引导的时间状语从句中的动词必须是延续性动词,且从句多用进行时态。
    强调主句的动作发生在从句动作进行的过程中或主从句两个动作同时发生。
    主从句动作可以同时发生,也可以先后发生。
    例句:当兔子正在睡觉时,乌龟赢得了比赛。 The trtise wins the race while the hare is sleeping. 当她走进我房间时,我正在看书。 I was just reading a bk when she came int my rm.
    befre 与 after 引导的时间状语从句
    在由befre和after引导的时间状语从句中,若主句用将来时,从句则用一般现在时。
    如果befre 引导的从句中谓语用一般过去时,则主句可用一般过去时也可用过去完成时;如果主句谓语用一般过去时,则after引导的从句可用一般过去时,也可用过去完成时。
    例如:我父亲在信到之前动身去加拿大了。 My father had left fr Canada befre the letter arrived. = After my father had left fr Canada, the letter arrived.
    until 引导的时间状语从句
    1. until 意为“到……为止”,表示主句谓语动作 延续到时间状语从句所表示的时间为止,故主 句谓语应为延续性动词。2. nt... until 意为“直到……才”,主句谓语为 非延续性动词。
    例句:我工作到他回来为止。 I wrked until he came back. 直到我父亲回来我才上床睡觉。 I didn’t g t bed until my father came back.
    since 引导的时间状语从句
    谓语动词用一般过去时,主句的谓语动词用现在完成时。在“It is+一段时间+since从句.”句型中,从句用一般过去时,主句多用一般现在时,也可用现在完成时。
    例如:她很长一段时间没在外面吃饭了。 It’s a lng time since she ate ut last time. 从17岁起我就自己养活自己。 I’ve earned my wn living since I was seventeen.
