1. I’d like steamed prawns with garlic.
这里的with是指将两种东西混在一起。
steam 动词，蒸；在这里用的是它的形容词形式，蒸的。本单元中还出现几个类似的，如fried(炒的，油炸的)，biled(煮的)，baked(烤的)。
2. Let’s have tmat. It’s my favurite.
let’s = let us让我们。let 后接代词宾格，再接动词原形。
favurite在本句中作名词，表示“最喜爱的事或物”。
It’s my favurite. 相当于 I like it best.
3. Mum, can we have sme fruit after dinner, please?
和any一样，sme也可以用在一般疑问句中，但所表达的意思不同。当说话人征求对方意见或希望得到对方肯定回答时，一般疑问句中才可以使用sme。
类似的句型还有：Wuld yu like sme …? D yu want sme … ?
May I have sme …? Shall we have sme …?

need在该句中为实意动词，need t d sth. 需要做某事。
一般疑问句形式：D/Des/Did… need t d sth.?
否定形式：dn’t/desn’t/didn’t need t d sth.

本句相当于What wuld yu like t have fr dinner tnight?
wuld like sth. 想要某物。wuld like t d sth. 想要做某事，与want t d sth.意思接近。
Have … fr dinner 晚饭吃……。注意介词用fr，且三餐前均不加the。
tnight 今晚，前面无任何介词。
2. Wuld yu like rice r ndles?
这是个选择疑问句，不能使用“Yes, I wuld.”“N, I wuldn’t”来回答，而应在两个选项中做出选择来回答，e.g., I’d like rice.或者I’d like ndles.
3. What kind f sup wuld yu like?
what kind f 什么种类，后接名词，单复数皆可。
4. In the market, at the vegetable stall.
in the market 在菜场。
菜场离得摊位称为stall。在stall前的介词使用的是at。
5. In the supermarket, in the seafd sectin.
in the supermarket 在超市。
超市里的部门，区域称为sectin。在sectin前的介词使用的是in。
6. – Mum, have yu bught any garlic?
– Yes, I’ve bught sme garlic.
这两句是现在完成时的句子。本句的含义只是询问“买了什么东西，”但不涉及购物的具体时间。
现在完成时结构：have/has + 动词过去分词。
一般疑问句形式：Have/Has ……? have/has 置于句首。
肯定回答：Yes, … have/has. 否定回答：N, … haven’t/hasn’t.
否定句形式：haven’t/hasn’t + 动词过去分词。
