    Step II Wrd study
    This part is a cnslidatin f the wrds learnt in this unit. Ask the students t d the exercise independently.
    T: Nw please pen yur bks and turn t Page 4. First let's learn abut language. Use the wrd they've learnt in this unit t fill in the blanks. Cmplete the sentences with suitable wrds in crrect frms.
    Step III Preparatin
    Get a pair f students t stand up and act as Anne and Kitty. It's time fr the teacher t be the interpreter between them. Encurage bth sides t give different sentences, including statements and questins.
    Step IV Grammar
    The students will learn the use f Direct Speech and Indirect Speech (statements and questins). First try t make clear t the students what direct and indirect speech is, with the help f the practice in Step III. Then give them sme examples. At last get them t summarize the rules f Direct Speech and Indirect Speech (statements and questins).

    Step V Practice
    Fr Ex 1, get the students t lk at the sentences carefully in pairs in rder t find ut the difference between direct speech and indirect speech. Guide the students t find ut the changes in prnun frms, wrd rder, adverbials and s n, especially the verb tenses, the underline parts. Ask the students t pay attentin t the reprting clause.
    Fr Ex 2, ask the students t d it by themselves, then check.
    Step VI Hmewrk
    1. Practice f WB (P42.1 &P 43.2)
    2. Ask the students t think ut different ways t slve the prblems abut making friends, preparing the materials abut the debate. Get the students t knw the prblem was that Anne had made a friend in the hiding place
    课后反思:本节课是语法课,能以学生为主体,通过指导学生观察、体验探究、合作等积极主动的学习方式,发现语言的规律并运用到各种语言实践活动中。做到精讲多练,使学生掌握直接引语和间接引语(祈使句和疑问句)的相互转化。
