Federal regulatrs Wednesday apprved a plan t create a natinwide emergency alert (警报) system using text messages delivered t cell phnes.
Text messages have explded in ppularity in recent years, particularly amng yung peple. The wireless industry’s trade assciatin, CTIA, estimates (估计) mre than 48 billins text messages are sent each mnth.
