一般过去时的定义：1.表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态，常和表示过去的时间状语连用。如：yesterday, last night, in 2020,tw days ag等。例句：I went t bed at eleven last night. 昨天晚上我十一点睡的觉。2.表示过去经常或反复发生的动作，常和表示频度的时间状语连用。例句：When I was a student , I ften g t schl n ft. 当我还是学生的时候，我经常走路去上学。
一般过去时的构成：1.在表示某个时间里存在的状态。主语+be的过去式（was , were）+其他。例句：We were in the gym just nw. 刚才我们在体育馆里。2.在表示过去某个时间里发生的动作。主语+动词的过去式+其他。例句：We played basketball tw hurs ag . 两个小时之前我们打篮球了。
动词过去式的变化规则（规则变化）1.一般在动词末尾加ed。如：wash—washed play—played2.结尾是e的加d。如：dance—danced lve—lved3.以“辅音字母+y”结尾的，变y为I,再加ed。如：carry—carried study—studied4.末尾只有一个元音字母和一个辅音字母的重读闭音节，应双写末尾的辅音字母，再加ed。如：stp—stpped
动词过去式的变化规则（不规则变化）

形容词比较级的定义： 形容词有原级、比较级和最高级。原级用于描述。比较级是同一范畴内的人或事物相比，一方比一方更……。最高级是三者或三者以上以及一定范围内的描述。句子构成： 主语+be（am, is , are）+形容词的比较级+than+比较对象。例句：I’m taller than my mther. 我比妈妈高。
形容词比较级的变化规则：1.在形容词词尾加上“er”“est”构成比较级、最高级。如：yung—yunger—yungest cl—cler—clest2.双写最后一个字母，再加上“er”“est”构成比较级、最高级。如：big—bigger—biggest fat—fatter—fattest3.以不发音的字母e结尾的形容词，加上“r”“st”构成比较级、最高级。如：clse—clser—clsest nice—nicer—nicest
4.以字母y结尾的形容词，把y改为I,再加上“er”“est”构成比较级、最高级。如：busy—busier—busiest early—earlier—earliest5.双音节、多音节形容词，在单词前面加上“mre”“mst”构成比较级、最高级。如：imprtant—mre imprtant—mst imprtant careful—mre careful—mst careful
