Unit 5What does he do?Part A第一课时Let’s learn & listen, match and say
教学目标1.能够听、说、读、写本课时主要单词或词组:factory worker, postman ,businessman, police officer.2.能够听、说、认读句子:What does he/she do? He’s/she’s a…并能在实际情境中正确使用。3.会唱歌曲《What do you want to do?》教学重难点1.掌握教学目标中的词组与句子。2.factory 的发音和拼读。教学准备教学课件,教学挂图,录音机,磁带教学过程Step 1 Warm-up1.Sing together with the song: My family2.回顾已学过的职业类单词:cook, doctor, teacher, nurse, farmer, basketball player.Step 2 Presentation1.教学单词或词组:factory worker, postman, business man , police officer.(1)教学单词postman。教师出示邮局的图片问:What’s this?学生回答:It’s a post office.教师拿出一张邮递员的图片放在邮局上说:This is a man. He works in the post office. He is postman.板书 postman,并带读记忆。(2)教学单词:businessman。教师出示商人的图片介绍说:Look at this man. Is he a postman, too?S: No,he isn’t.T: He’s doing business now.教师板书business,拼读记忆business.T:This man does business every day.He is a businessman.教师在business的后面添上man.让学生根据老师的手势“大小声”读单词。教师出示女商人的图片,启发学生说:businesswoman。(3)教学词组:police officer。教师板书police,提问学生:Where do you often see it?学生回答“警车”后,全班拼读记忆police.教师继续说:“Who work in the police car? The police officers work in it.”补充板书 police officer,然后用升降调带读词组,并让学生记忆拼读词组。(4)教学词组:factory worker。教师出示工厂的图片说:This is a factory.板书factory,用升降调带读单词。教师指着图中的工人说:They’re workers. They work in the factory. They are factory workers.在factory后补充worker,带读并拼读worker.最后全班齐说词组factory worker.2.教师用PPT展示与各个行业相关的图片。让学生练习句型:What does he/she do?He’s/she’s a…教师先指着一张图片问:What’s his job?学生回答:He’s a …老师继续指着该图片问:What does he do?引导学生依然回答:He’s a …接着让全班同学以男生问,女生答,再女生问,男生答的方式操练句型。3.教学Let’s learn。(1)教师播放Let’s learn的录音,学生边听,边跟读。(2)学生两人一组表演对话。(3)请几组同学到台前表演。Step 3 Consolidation and extension1.教学Listen, match and say。活动方式:先让学生独立阅读八个短语,然后教师播放录音,学生听音连线,全班讲评订正。最后两人一组进行问答。2.巩固练习,连词成句。1.a/police/he/officer/is(.) 2.his/what/hobbies/are(.)3.your/is/father/a/business(?) Part A第二课时Let’s try & Let’s talk
教学目标1.复习单词或词组:factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer.2.能听、说、读、写句子:What does she/he do?He’s/She’s a/an…3.能听、说、认读单词和词组:country/head teacher句子:He often goes to other countries.I want to be a businessman.教学重难点1.掌握目标中的句子。2.country的复数形式。教学准备教学课件,单词卡片,录音机,磁带教学过程Step 1Warm-up1.sing the song: What do you want to do?2.复习短语:factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer.教师先出示图片,让学生看图说词语,然后再出示单词卡片,抽读这几个词语。Step 2 Presentation1.教学单词:country和head teacher。教师指着世界地图上的国家介绍说:“China is a country. America is a country, too.”板书:country,让学生说说country的意思,接着全班跟读单词,再让学生说出它的复数形式,提醒学生去y为i+es→countries。教师出示校长的图片说:This is our head teacher.教师板书head teacher,让学生说说它的意思并带读。2.教学句子:He often goes to other countries. I want to be a businessman。教师出示比尔盖茨的照片介绍问:“Where is he from?”学生回答:He’s from America.教师接着介绍说:“He’s from America. But he often goes to work by plane. He often goes to other countries.”板书He often goes to other countries.让学生说说句中other的意思。教师提问一位学生说:“Do you want to be a teacher?”如果学生回答:“No,I don’t.”马上追问:What do you want to be?引导学生用“I want to be a…”的句式并说出想要从事的职业。教师板书I want to be a…,接着再请几个学生说说他们想要从事的职业。3.教学Let’s try。(1)教师让学生翻开课本,读一读Let’s try中呈现的两个句子。(2)教师播放Let’s try的录声,学生听完录音后圈出正确的词。(3)全班校对答案。4.教学Let’s talk。(1)教师播放Let’s talk的视频,要求学生带着问题看视频:What does Oliver’s father do?What does his mother do?视频播放完后,让学生回答这两个问题。(2)让学生说说:“She’ll be here today.”这句话的意思。(3)播放Let’s talk的视频,每句后暂停,全班跟读。(4)播放Let’s talk的视频,将声音关闭,全班分成两组为视频配音。Step 3 Consolidation and extension1.分角色扮演Let’s talk,两人一组进行表演。2.练习句型What does your father/mother do?(1)告诉学生:可以通过给动词+er的方式得到一些表示职业的单词。教师板书:clean,sing,write,dance.让学生写写这些动词相对应的职业词,然后请一些学生说出是怎么变的,同时说说它们的意思,教师将板书补充成cleaner, singer, writer, dancer。(2)学生四人一组互相询问父母的职业。Step 4 Homework1.熟读Let’s talk。2.用重点句型写一段对话。板书设计Unit 5 What does she do?countries head teacherI want to be a…cleaner singer writer dancerPart A教学反思 本单元以询问职业为话题展开了学习与讨论,在A部分主要是让学生了解一些职业单词,并掌握询问职业的句型,能简单的描述各类各行各业工作人员。在这部分,需要老师多提供各种工作图片来提高学生的兴趣,避免枯燥的记读,同时也需要为学生设置各种对话形式来运用所学知识。
Part B第一课时Let’s learn & Write and discuss
教学目标1.能够听、说、读、写单词:fisherman, scientist, pilot, coach。2.听说认读单词:university, gym3.能够听、说、认读句子:Where does she work?She works at a university。并能在实际情景中运用。 教学重难点掌握本课四会单词,并能在句型中运用。教学准备Step 1 Warm-up1.Greetings2.两人上台表演对话。活动方式:学生两人一组编一对有关父母职业的对话,并上台表演。Step 2 Presentation1.教学单词fisherman。教师出示渔民的图片问:What does he do?学生说:渔民。教师说:Yes,he is a fisherman.板书fisherman.并带领学生记读单词。2.教学单词scientist, university。T:Spell“science”please.学生拼读单词,教师将其板书在黑板上。然后教师将ce擦掉,再加上tist,将单词变成scientist。提问学生:What happened?学生讲述观察到的变化。教师告诉学生:This is a job, too. Guess,please. What’s the meaning?学生猜出后,教师将科学家的图片贴在单词上面,全班读记单词,教师指着科学家说:He works at a university.板书university.告诉学生单词的意思,并用升降调带读。3.教学单词pilot。教师出示司机的图片问:What does he do?学生回答:He’s a driver.教师解释说:The driver drives a car on the road.(出示飞行员的图片)He drives a plane in the sky. What does he do?学生说出后,教师将图片贴在黑板上并板书pilot。全班拼读记忆pilot,提问一些学生:Do you want to be a pilot?4.教学单词coach。教师出示校篮球队教练的图片说:This is our basketball coach.板书coach,全班拼读记忆coach。然后让学生说说其他的教练。5.活动:听场所,猜职业。教师描述工作场所,学生猜职业,eg:He works at the post office.
