教材分析
本节课是 PEP小学英语三年级下册第三单元A部分中的 Let's learn和Let's d 的内容，学习thin，fat，tall，shrt这几个表示高矮胖瘦的词汇。并围绕本课新授单词，穿插一些活动，即本课的第二部分 Let's d，如 Be fat，Be fat, Be fat,fat,fat.等一些简单的指示语，要求学生听懂并按照指令做出相应的动作，同时鼓励学生滚动已学的形容词并拓展延伸，如：small, big, cute, lvely, smart，clever。等等。学生能举一反三，以此达到语言教学的真正目的。另外本课使用打节拍以及全身活动做动作更是深受儿童喜爱的，所用的节奏和动作能刺激大脑皮层，激活记忆，使学生在对各指令的反应中自然习得语言。
学情分析
本节课学习thin，fat，tall，shrt这几个单词，利用 chant，给学生提供一个有趣、轻松、活泼的氛围去操练单词，学生更易理解，学得更快。本节课组织了多种学生喜闻乐见的形式来巩固听说和拼读单词的能力，从而为以后进一步学习打下良好的基础。
教学目标
1．知识目标:
（1） 能听，说，认读，拼写thin，fat，tall，shrt四个单词并再真实情景中运用。
（2）能听懂所接触的指示语，并能按照指示语做出相应的动作。能流利地玩成let’s d部分的内容。
2. 技能目标：让学生熟练运用所学单词。
3. 情感目标：激发学生学习英语的兴趣，调动学习积极性，引导学生积极与他人合作，再活动中培养学生的协作精神和竞争意识。
教学重难点
1. 能听、说、认读thin，fat，tall，shrt四个单词并运用；能完成let’s d部分。
2. 熟练运用所学thin，fat，tall，shrt单词，并能对身边的事物进行简单描述。

[设计意图]通过实物和视频，让学生观察感知高矮胖瘦。教师带学生拼读单词，学生单个拼读，小组拼读，培养学生良好的拼读习惯。学单词时做到眼，手，耳，口，心到，准确把握单词的音、形、义之间的密切联系。
[设计意图]形式多样的教学活动，既能调动学生学习英语的积极性和热情，又巩固了本节课所学的四个单词，使学生在学中玩，玩中学，寓教于乐。
[设计意图]以之前学过的学具为铺垫，引出Shw me这个指示语。再带学生反复练习，达到熟练程度。
