    Self-driving cars might make yur future travel a lt mre pleasant, but they wn’t reduce traffic.
    Car prducers have mentined that traffic reductin is ne f the many advantages f having self-driving cars n the rad. The idea is that self-driving cars will reduce accidents caused by human mistakes. But experts say self-driving cars’ influence n traffic will prbably be bad.
    Lew Fultn, a c-directr at UC Davis’ Institute f Transprtatin Studies (ITS), said that self-driving cars wn’t fix traffic prblems unless a pricing system is put in place that discurages self-driving cars. Fr example, many cmpanies are interested in prgramming self-driving cars t d smething, which culd increase traffic n the rad, Fultn said.
    Massachusetts lawmakers have already suggested intrducing a tax (税) n driverless cars. It calls fr at least $0.025 per mile.
