I am a yung cin cllectr and cin cllecting has taught me a few different things. The tw mst imprtant skills are: knwing the different cnditins f cins and knwing the value f cins. The cnditin f the cin is its grade. There are six different grades: gd (the cin is well wrn dwn), very gd (the cin shws a small amunt f fine detail), fine (the cin’s higher pints are well wrn), very fine (the cin’s high pints are slightly (轻微地) wrn), extra fine (the cin is slightly wrn dwn), and uncirculated (the cin is in the cnditin that it came frm the mint). A mint is a place where cins are made. The value f the cin depends n the cin’s grade, age, hw many were made, hw much silver is in it and frm which mint it came. The lder the cin and the better the grade, the mre it is wrth. When yu tuch a cin, yu hld the edges in between yur thumb (the shrt thick finger) and index finger (the finger next t the thumb). If yu tuch the tp and bttm, yu can wear the cin dwn by making it very smth.
I rganize my cllectin by the year and mintmark. The mintmark tells where the cin was made. The mints are: Denver (D), Philadelphia (P), and San Francisc (S). A key date is a year when very few cins f a certain type were made and they are therefre difficult t find. The greatest key date in the Mercury Dime series is the 1916-D because there were very few made.
I share my cllectin with my family and friends. My cllectin began when my parents started giving the Mercury Dimes t me. They have helped me cllect cins by buying them fr me and lking thrugh cins with me. The advice I wuld give abut cllecting is chse smething yu want t cllect, nt what smene else wants yu t cllect.

    A. They have many different cnditins.
    B. They are made mainly fr cllectrs.
    C. They are at the highest prices.
    D. They have the highest grade.
    6. Which f the fllwing is the right way t hld a cin?
    7. What can we infer abut the 1916-D Mercury Dime?
    A. It is f great value.
    B. It is unppular in the U.S.
    C. It is very easy t be fund tday.
    D. It was prduced in Philadelphia.

    38. E。文中的shwer,t ht,t cld与E项中的check the water first with yur hand语义相关。
