规则变化:1.一般在词尾加-er eg. cld — clder, ld — lder
形容词的比较级变化形式

2.重读闭音节词尾只有一个辅音字母时，先双写这个辅音字母，再加-er eg. big — bigger, thin — thinner3.以“辅音字母+y”结尾的双音节词，先改y为i，再加-er eg. easy — easier, happy — happier

多音节是指大于等于3个音节的单词。前面加mre(更加)，表示更加怎么样。如：beautiful — mre beautifulexcited — mre excited
不规则变化:eg. gd/well — better bad/badly — wrse many/much — mre little — less far — farther/further
形容词的比较级的用法
表示两者(人或事物)的比较。eg. I am taller than Tm. My dress is mre beautiful than hers.
