A
Falls are cmmn in yung children and lder peple.
D nt mve the persn and call fr emergency help if the persn部分的•has clear fluid r bld cming frm the nse, ears r muth可知,如果伤者鼻子、耳朵或口中流血,则不要移动伤者,而是紧急呼救。
第二句的Always strap(用带子捆住)、第三句的Always strap和and make sure they always wear helmets均属于防止小孩摔倒方面的建议,故D项(防止摔倒)正确。
5.have difficulty (in) ding sth.
Their caretakers bandaged their leaves f a eucalyptus (桉树) tree.
由第三段中的severe fire(严重的火灾)、第四段第一句中的climate change(气候变化)、human develpment(人类开发)可知A、B、C项均已提及,所以应该选择D。
第四段讲述考拉目前的处境,其中第二句中的kalas' numbers have fallen by up t 80 percent指出考拉的数量已经下降高达80%。 This is a big wake-up call.
A.Climate Change—a Big Wake-up Call只能概括考拉数量下降的一方面原因,不能概括全篇;C.Catastrphic Wildfires Burning in Australia 意为“灾难性的野火在澳大利亚燃烧”,未提及考拉,所以不能概括全篇;D.Kalas—a Natinal Symbl f Australia意为“考拉——一个澳大利亚的国家象征”,未提及考拉面临的威胁,故错误。
Synstelien, alng with his partner Nichlas Tarn, had already tried reprting the pr animal t the U.S.
In the vide, yu can hear him shuting “Swim! Swim! Mve! Just get it! Get it!” frm the side f the bat while filming the entire rescue.
根据下文even hit the bat with its huge tail with a lt f frce可知,座头鲸用巨大的尾巴用力撞船,由此推测座头鲸非常紧张和心烦不安。
This is why learning first aid is s imprtant(这就是为什么学习急救如此重要)可以承接上文。
可知A项It includes keeping the persn safe and staying calm(它包括保护这个人的安全和保持冷静)可以引出下文。

Instantly, I helped her int a standing psitin and put her arm arund my shulder, and tgether we hbbled t the nurse's ffice.
Paragraph 2:
Sabrina never harassed me after that. We never became friends, but frm that mment at the ft f the stairs, I was cnvinced that I had earned her respect. She still hated being n my team in gym class and gt annyed abut my perfrmance smetimes, but things were different. Her best friend wuld still pick n me ccasinally, but Sabrina wuld shake her head and quietly say, “Leave her alne.”
cat bites后面已经有谓语动词are,而like在此处是介词,意为“比如”,like dg and cat bites为介词短语作定语。

The difficult situatin f the kala—a natinal symbl f Australia—has raised questins amng cnservatinists and scientists abut what it will take t preserve the rare species in a cuntry increasingly expsed t severe fire, extreme heat and water shrtage, and which already has been amng the highest rates f species extinctin in the wrld.
what it will take t preserve the rare the wrld是what引导的宾语从句,作介词abut的宾语。其中的rare species有两个后置定语:increasingly expsed t severe fire, extreme heat and water shrtage和定语从句which already has been amng the highest rates f species extinctin in the wrld。
