Befre I came here I imagined an rphanage with lvely beds，a dining hall，and a playgrund where the children culd enjy themselves.But the reality was far frm② my imaginatin.The rphanage nly had fur rms.These little bys and girls piled int the same beds in the rms.And the rms were very small and they didn't even have real drs.They were shabbily dressed(衣衫褴褛)and their fingers were as thin as sticks.It was hard t imagine that smething we culd nly see n TV at hme really happened in this rphanage.
I talked t a vlunteer③ wh was cking fr the children.When she talked f the terrible situatin f these children，I saw tears in her eyes.Seeing this，I felt strngly smething needed t be dne.I shuldn't sit at my hme in the United States and avid all f the hurt that went n in the wrld.These children faced nt nly pr living cnditins，but a lack(缺乏)f health care and educatin as well.Vlunteers were imprtant t them.
