    本单元语法主要介绍的是动词-ing形式作宾语和表语。一、动词-ing形式作宾语1.作动词的宾语。一些及物动词之后只能接动词-ing作宾语,不能接不定式。这些常用动词有: avid, miss, delay/put ff(避免,错过,延期)advise, finish, practise(建议,完成,练习)enjy, imagine, can’t help(喜欢,想象,禁不住)
    □动词-ing形式作宾语和表语
    admit, deny, envy(承认,否定,嫉妒)escape, risk, excuse(逃避,冒险,原谅)stand, keep, mind(忍受,保持,介意)此外,feel like, devte t, be/get used t, bject t, set abut, insist n, pay attentin t, stick t, be busy (in), have difficulties/truble (in)等动词短语后也接动名词作宾语。
    He admitted referring t his ntes in the exam.他承认在考试中查阅了笔记。I avided mentining the subject in case he shuld be ffended. 我回避提及这个问题,以免冒犯他。
    【名师点睛】下面短语后接动词-ing形式,因为t为介词:be used t习惯于devte neself t献身于get dwn t开始做lk frward t期待
    stick t坚持lead t导致pay attentin t注意I’m lking frward t yur cming next time.我期待着你下一次的到来。
    2.在以下结构中,动词-ing形式作介词的宾语,介词常省略。spend…(in)ding 花费……做某事have difficulty/truble (in)ding… 做……有困难/麻烦stp/prevent…(frm)ding 阻止……做某事waste time (in)ding 浪费时间做某事be busy (in)ding 忙于做某事
    have a gd/hard time (in)ding高兴做某事/费了很大劲做某事There is n pint (in)ding sth.做某事毫无意义。There is n pint giving him such a gd chance.给他提供这样一个好机会没有意义。He is always busy wrking every day,which has made him have little time t play with his child.他每天总是忙于工作,这使他很少有时间和孩子一起玩。
    3.以下及物动词后既可接不定式又可接动词-ing作宾语,但两者意义上有区别(1)remember t d记住要去做的事remember ding记得过去曾经做过某事 I remember t meet her at the statin. I remember seeing her nce smewhere.
    (2)frget t d忘记要去做的事 frget ding忘记了过去做过的事I frgt t tell yu abut it. Nw here it is. I frgt giving it t yu yesterday. (3)regret ding后悔做了某事regret t d很遗憾地去做某事I regret nt wrking hard. I regret t hear f yur sister’s death.
    (4)can’t help t d不能帮着去做……can’t help ding禁不住做……I can’t help t clean the huse with s much wrk t d. 因为有太多工作要做,我不能帮忙打扫屋子。She can’t help laughing at the thught f the jke he tld her. 一想到他讲给她的那个笑话,她就忍不住笑。
    4.用it作形式宾语,真正的宾语是动词-ing形式。其结构是: sb.+动词+it+adj.+动词-ing形式常用动词有: think, cnsider, find, feel, believe等D yu feel it difficult trying again? 再来一遍你觉得难吗? I fund it useless/n use crying abut it. 我发现因为这件事哭泣没用。
    二、动词-ing形式作表语1.动词-ing形式作表语,表示抽象的一般性的行为,用来说明主语的内容,与主语通常是同一概念,表语和主语通常可以交换位置。In the ant city, the queen’s jb is laying eggs. =In the ant city, laying eggs is the queen’s jb. 在蚂蚁王国,蚁后的工作是产卵。
    2.动词-ing形式作表语,可以表示主语的某种性质或特征,这类词可以看作形容词。The present situatin is inspiring. 当前的形势鼓舞人心。 The film being shwn in the cinema is exciting. 正在电影院上演的电影很激动人心。
    【名师点睛】动名词(短语)和不定式(短语)都能用作主语或表语,两者的区别是:表示比较抽象、一般的行为,不跟特定的动作执行者联系在一起时,多用动名词(短语);
    表示具体某次行为、特别是将来的行为,往往跟特定的动作执行者联系在一起时,多用不定式。试比较:Our jb is building huses.(经常性的一般行为)我们的工作是盖房子。Our main task nw is t build this huse.(特定的具体某次行为)我们现在的主要任务是盖这间房子。
