Ⅳ.语篇易记We can use bdy language t cmmunicate with each ther. Sme f the bdy language is used uncnsciusly and can give away much abut us. Nw, let's learn mre abut it.Bdy language varies frm culture t culture. Traditinally, in many western cuntries when peple say hell t thers, they ften shake hands. The gesture means “I'm nt carrying a threatening weapn and nt aggressive, s yu needn't be n guard.” When peple make a deal, they ften shake hands. T shw friendliness, they ften hug. In Asian cuntries, greetings invlve handshake, bw, salaam and s n. All f them mean pliteness r respect t thers. They're frmal greetings.
But tday sme infrmal greetings are widely used amng the yuth. Fr example, “Give me five!” is a quite cmmn greeting. One persn hlds up his hands, palm utwards and five fingers spread. The ther persn lifts up his hands and slaps the ther's abve the head in a “high five”.We can clap t shw ur appreciatin when we watch a live perfrmance. When the perfrmers d well, we ften prlng ur applause. In classical Athens applause meant judgement and taking part. Handclap is infectius and scial. Meanwhile, it shws the equality between the perfrmers and the audience.
