Step 1 Work on 1a

Let students read the sentences in 1a quickly and judge the correct mistakes of these basic etiquette according to their own understanding.

Step 2 Listening

1. Listen to the first recording session and complete the part 1b task.

2. Listen to the second recording, complete 1c with reading. Divide the task.

3. Listen to the third time, check the answer, and let the students word by sentence

Step 3 Group work

According to the listening content and the information provided in 1a, 1c, let students make a dialogue to talk about table etiquette, and let 2~3 groups to perform.

1. stick…into/in…

stick…into/in…意为“把……插入……”。

2.point at

point at意为“指着”， at为介词，后跟动作的目标，表示指着某人或某物。

辨析：point at与point to
