Students can be motivated to use English and learn to care about others.Key and difficult points:Proficient in the use of expression patterns.How long is the distance and how long is the timeTeaching method: cooperative inquiry methodTeaching AIDS: PPTTeaching steps Step 1: Lead inT：How do you go to school？S：(学生根据动画给出自己的答案)【教学设计说明】Through the small animation question and answer practice, leads to the grammar of this lesson.Step 2: Grammar Focus Explain the key points:how引导的特殊疑问句how“怎样，如何”，用来提问身体健康状况或者做某事的方式。eg: How do you go home every day?  你每天怎么回家？   How does your father get to work? 你爸爸怎么去上班？how long 用来提问时间长短，意为“多长时间”，或询问物体的长度。how far 用来提问距离，意为“多远”。其答语分为两种情况：(1)用长度单位表示eg: —How far is it from your home to the bus stop？从你家到公共汽车停靠站有多远？   —It's two kilometers. 两公里远。(2)用时间表示eg: —How far is the park from the supermarket？    从超市到公园有多远？   —It's 5 minutes' walk. 步行5分钟的路程。2．在回答how far 的提问时，通常有两种情形：①有具体的数字时，可与away from 连用，表示具体距离的计量，口语中away可省略。②没有具体数字时，应用far或near作答。eg：—How far is your home from your school？ 你家离学校有多远？    —It's twenty kilometers (away) from my school./    —It's very far.我家离学校有20公里(远)。/我家离学校很远。how often 意思为“多久一次”， 询问做某事的频率。eg: How often does Lucy visit her aunt? 露西多久看望一次她姑妈？how soon 意思为“多久”，常用于一般将来时。 eg: —How soon will she be back? 她多久能回来？    —She will be back in 3 months.3个月以后她将会回来。how about 意思为“……怎样”，相当于what about,用来询问对方的意见。eg: How about going to the beaches for vacation? 去海滩度假怎么样？【教学设计说明】The main purpose of this section is to let the students master the key knowledge points.Step 3. work on 3a&3bMatch the questions with the answers.
