【教学目标】
1.学习掌握以下句型:
(1)Look at the clouds in the sky.
(2)—Is it raining / snowing?
—Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t.
(3)—Is there a wind?
—No. There’s no wind.
2.通过学习Let’s talk,复习并巩固现在进行时态的用法.
3.能在日常生活交流中正确运用本部分的功能句型.
4.通过实际练习,提高学生的听、说、读、写等语言运用能力.
【教学重难点】
1.学习掌握以下句型:

(2)—Is it raining / snowing?
—Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t.
(3)—Is there a wind?
—No. There’s no wind.
2.通过学习Let’s talk,复习并巩固现在进行时态的用法.

教师准备:
(1)Let’s learn部分的单词卡片.
(2)Let’s talk部分的人物头饰.
(3)Let’s talk部分的教学挂图.
(4)Let’s talk部分的教学音频.
【教学过程】
Ⅰ.课程导入(Leading In)
1.课前复习
(1)教师出示Part A Let’s learn部分的单词卡片,学生齐读并做动作,一起复习上节课所学单词.
(2)教师快速闪动单词卡片,学生举手抢答单词.
温馨提示:为了提高学生参与活动的积极性,教师可提前出示卡片,要求学生在听到指令Begin! / Start! / Action! 之后,再举手抢答,反之则为犯规,比一比谁的反应最快.教师可拟定有趣的规则来"惩罚"犯规者.
2.新课导入
Part A Warming-up: Think and match
(1)教师引导学生先审题,并仔细观察图片.
(2)教师启发学生理解need的意思.
T: (做发抖状)Oh, I’m very cold.I need a coat. Do you have a coat?
(3)学生根据天气情况,选择需要的物品,并连线.
(4)教师引导学生就连线结果进行问答并导入新课.
T: Look at Picture 3. It’s raining. What do you need?
T / Ss: I need an umbrella.
T: Look at Picture 4. Is it raining?
Ss: No, it isn’t. It’s snowing.
T: What do you need?
T / Ss: I need a coat.
(5)教师板书并领读句子:
—Is it raining?
—No, it isn’t. It’s snowing.
多次反复,让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中复习上节课所学的单词.
Ⅱ.课程展示活动和过程的设计建议(presentation)
1.新课展示Part A: Let’s talk
(1)通过师生问答理解、掌握现在进行时态的一般疑问句及其答语.
教师让一名学生拿起书做看书状,并与其问答:
T: What are you doing, S1?
S1: I’m reading.
T:(对全班同学)What’s S1 doing?
Ss: He / She is reading.
(2)教师让另一名学生在黑板上画面,并与其问答:
T: Are you writing?
S2: No, I’m not. I’m drawing a picture.
T:(对全班同学)What’s S2 doing? Is he / she reading?
T / Ss: No, he / she isn’t.
T: Is he / she writing?
Ss: No, he / she isn’t.
T: Is he / she drawing a picture?
Ss: Yes, he / she is.
(3)教师出示Let’s talk部分的第一幅图,进行师生回答:
T: Is it snowing?
引导学生回答:
Ss: No, it isn’t.
教师继续陈述:
T. But there are many clouds. Look at the clouds in the sky. Let s go home.
Ss: OK.
(4)教师出示Let’s talk部分的第二幅图,进行师生问答:
T: Is it snowing now?
引导学生回答:
T / Ss: Yes, it is. Look, how beautiful!
教师在此可适当补充感叹句的知识,但重点仍为现在进行时态的一般疑问形式.
教学小贴士 教师强调snow和rain分别有两个意思: snow:(名词)雪,(动词)下雪; rain:(名词)雨,(动词)下雨. 如:The snow is very beautiful.雪很漂亮 It is snowing.下雪了. The rain is heavy.雨很大. It is raining.下雨了. |
(5)教师继续出示Let’s talk部分的第三幅图:
T: Is there a wind?
引导学生回答:
Ss: No. It’s snowing. But there’s no wind.
教师在此也可让学生对There be句型的一般疑问形式稍加练习.如:
T: Are there any clouds in the sky?
并引导学生作答:
T / Ss: No, there aren’t. There is some snow.
2.听力理解
(1)教师播放录音,要求学生看图片,整体感知Let’s talk部分的内容.
(2)教师再次播放录音,让学生仔细听并逐句跟读.
(3)学生分组、分角色跟读录音,要求指读.
(4)学生齐读对话,教师纠正个别单词或句子的错误读音,注意纠正一般疑问句的错误语调.
(5)学生分角色读对话,教师进行点评.或是教师展示Let’s talk部分的课件,让学生给课件配音.
Ⅲ.操练活动的设计与实施建议(Practice Activities)
1.角色扮演
(1)将学生分为三人一组先排练对话.
(2)请学生分别戴上各自的人物头饰进行表演,教师点评,给予肯定评价, 鼓励学生展示自我.
温馨提示:表演环节中,教师应多给学生一些时间去排练,对于掌握程度好的学生,可鼓励其加入自己的想法和动作,用学过的句子改编对话,让学生通过绘声绘色的表演加深对文本的记忆和理解,最后达到本节课的教学目标.
2.Part C Look, ask and answer
(1)教师引导学生观察图片.
(2)要求学生用现在进行时态描述图片中各个人物的活动:
Li Shan / She is reading a book.
Grandpa / He is writing.
Grandma and Mom / They are watching TV.
The dog / It is sleeping.
The cat / It is eating.
(3)引导学生将上述句子变成一般疑问句:
Li Shan / She is reading a book. → Is Li Shan / she reading a book?
Grandpa / He is writing. → Is Grandpa / he writing?
Grandma and Mom / They are watching TV. →Are Grandma and Mom / they watching TV?
The dog / It is sleeping. → Is the dog / it sleeping?
The cat / It is eating. → Is the cat / it eating?
教师提示学生陈述句变疑问句时只需要把be动词提到句首.
(4)学生借助参考句型,针对图片自问自答.
(5)同桌互相问答.
(6)教师将学生分成若干小组,一组提问,另一组根据图片回答.如:
G 1: Is he writing?
G 2: Yes, he is.
G 3: Is Li Shan watching TV?
G 4: No, she isn’t. She is reading a book.
G 5: Are Grandma and Mom watching TV?
G 6: Yes, they are.
Ⅳ. 家庭作业:1. 熟读Let’s talk的课文内容。
2. 跟同伴编演谈论天气的对话。
