Unit 2 I'll help to clean up the city parks.第一课时 Section A(1a-2d)Teaching Key Points 【教学重点】 The vocabulary: volunteer,notice,lonely,clean up,cheer up,give out,used to Target language: 1.The girl could visit the sick kids in the hospital to cheer them up.2.The boy could give out food at the food bank.3.We need to come up with a plan for the City Park Clean-Up Day.4.They told me stories about the past and how things used to be.Teaching Difficult Points 【教学难点】 Use the target language above to talk about how to offer help.Teaching Aids 【教学工具】 an English book,a tape recorder and CAITeaching Steps 【教学过程】★Step 1 Preview and perception 【预习感知】Ask the students to read the vocabulary and target language.根据汉语意思完成下列句子。1.这个女孩可以去看望医院里生病的孩子来使他们高兴。The girl could ______ the sick kids in the hospital to ______ ______ ______.2.这个男孩可以在食物分发处发食物。The boy could ______ ______ food at the food bank.3.我们需要为城市公园清洁日想出一个计划来。We need to ______ ______ ______ a plan for the City Park Clean-Up Day.4.他们向我们讲了关于过去的故事及曾经的情况。They told me stories about the past and how things ______ ______ ______.★Step 2 Consociation and exploration 【合作探究】Let the students read the book by themselves in order to find out the answers.They can discuss the questions in groups or ask the teacher for help.When they finish the questions,ask some students to check the answers.★Step 3 Leading in 【情景导入】We should do something for other people.What can you volunteer?
