1.复习句子成分：过去分词作定语，状语，宾语补足语和表语。
任务：分析下列句子中斜体部分在句子中所作的成分。

活动一：观察学习v-ing形式作状语的语法项目
1.观察以下例句，划出做状语的v-ing形式并讨论其作状语的用法要求。

②Turning left at the first wds, yu’ll find the path t the ft f the muntain.
③A terrible earthquake hit the cunty, leaving it in ruins in a few shrt secnds.

v-ing形式作状语的位置。v-ing做状语一般均要用_______同主句隔开,既可以出现在句首，也可以出现在句尾，用来对主句动作提供时间，原因，条件，方式等方面的修饰，或成为主句的结果，从而使主句的动作状态更丰满，语义更完整，语境感更强。大多数情况下，作状语的v-ing形式均可转换为同类型的状语从句或并列句。
如：Turning left at the first wds, yu’ll find the path t the ft f the muntain.

b. v-ing形式作状语的意义。v-ing形式作状语时其逻辑主语(执行者)必须是_________，且与之形成________(主动/被动)关系。

2 .Summary :
a. v-ing形式作宾语补足语的位置。
充当宾语补足语的v-ing形式须紧跟在_______之后，因为宾语常在 _______ 或者________之后，因此带有v-ing形式作宾语补足的完整结构往往为V+ Object + v-ing或者Prep +_____________________，其中，Object+ Object Cmplement部分常称为复合宾语或者宾语的复合结构。
英语中能接宾语复合结构的动词很有限， 此结构中的V常为：
①感官动词，如see, watch, ntice, find, catch，hear等；
②使役动词，如have，keep, leave等。，
某些介词也可以加宾语复合结构，如_______。
