    Unit 4 Then and now B Let’s talk 教学设计教学目标: 1、听说读写句子:Before, I was quiet. Now, I’m very active in class. I was short, so I couldn’t ride my bike well. Now, I go cycling every day. 2、听说认读单词differentactivequiet, change-—changed grade-Grade 6 3、听在恰当的情境中懂会说本课时的对话。 a、能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话内容,并能分角色进行表演; b、能听、说、读、写重点句型,并在情境中恰当运用句型, c、谈论加入朋友的变化,形成小的语篇: I changed a lot ,I’m different now . Before I was … , now I am … Before I couldn’t … , now I can … Before I didn’t like … , now I like … 难点:1、单词different注意发音 change - changed /d/ 2、拓展延伸,谈论朋友或家人的变化,并用小的语篇表达。 Amy is my friend, she changed a lot . She is different now . Before she was .... now she is .... Before she didn’t like ... now she likes it very much . Before she couldn’t ...now she can ..... 教学过程 Teaching steps Step 1,Free talk Teacher show students many pictures from Grade1 to Grade 6 . teacher says : Before we are in Grade 1 ,now we are in Grade 6 . We changed a lot .We are different . Then students talk about themselves with the help of the sheet and ppt .Step2. Let’s talk 1. Listen and fill in the blanks: Before, Mike was _____. Now, he is very ________. 设计意图: 通过听快速获得信息。 2.Read and answer the question. How did Mike change? Before, he liked pink. Now, he doesn’t like pink. Before, he was quiet. But now, he is very active in class. 设计意图:速读,获取信息,并找出问题的关键句。 3.Read again ,answer the question : How did John change? Before, he couldn’t ride his bike well. Now, he goes cycling every day. 设计意图:再次细读语段,找出问题的回答,并划出关键句。 4.Read and imitate. Read after the tape ,try to imitate. 设计意图:跟读录音,尽量模仿语音语调和连读、断句等。 5.Read and fill in the blanks. 设计意图:对话填空,考察学生的语句复述能力,以及为下一步的语段输出打下基础。 Step 3 . Consolidation and show time . 1.With the help of the sheet , students talk about the changes of themselves . Like this : Before I was short / quiet / thin. Now I am tall / active / strong . Before I had short hair ,now I have long hair . Before I didn’t like maths, but now I like maths very much . Before I didn’t wear glasses , but now I wear glasses , that’s too bad . Before I couldn’t ride my bike , but now I go cycling every day . That’s good exercise . I changed a lot . I am different now . 设计意图:1.从课前热身学生用单句表达自己的变化,通过操练和巩固,学生语段输出。 如果在输出过程中还有错误,那刚好是检测本节课的知识点的落实情况,可以再学生show time 后进行纠正。 2. Talk about your friends or family members . How did they change ? Write down 5 sentences about their changes .( if time permit ) Like this: Amy is my friend, she changed a lot . She is different now . Before she was .... now she is .... Before she didn’t like ... now she likes it very much . Before she couldn’t ...now she can ..... 设计意图:如果时间允许,写下5个关于朋友或家庭成员的变化的句子。这样可以让学生的说过渡到写,真正达到说与写的统一。3.Changes are all around us ,talk about them. Step4 Homework 1.Listen and repeat P36 five times. 2.Tell your partner, how did you change ? 3.Talk about your friends or family membershow did they change? Try to write down 5 sentences Like this: Amy is my friend, she changed a lot . She is different now . Before she was .... now she is .... Before she didn’t like ... now she likes it very much . Before she couldn’t ...now she can ....
