教学分析
1、学情分析
本课教学对象是三年级学生通过前面的学习,已经了一些有关food、 drinks等的词汇。从认知特点看,他们喜欢求新求异,对西式食品感兴趣。但对英语食品名词数的表达缺乏了解。基于这些,教学中,教师在学习点餐过程中,引导学生练习使用a\an\some表述学过的食品名词,为后面的点餐扫除障碍。
2、教材分析
本课选择冀教版小学英语第二册第四单元第二课。讲述Jenny和Li Ming在餐厅点餐的情景。通过对话学会如何用英文点餐。

1、 学生能听懂、会说、认读和书写词汇:ice cream
2、 学生能认读、理解并使用句式:What would you like? I’d like…
3、 学生能唱歌谣:What would you like?

学会使用礼貌用语:

来表达请求、致谢等,懂得用餐礼貌用语,养成好的用餐习惯。

教学过程
一、 Class Opening and Review
1、 Sing a song: Delicious Food
2、 Review the vocabulary about food.
T: There’re some food on the table. What is it? Let’s look and say. First, let’s divided into two teams. Who is fast will get one point.
( Show the pictures one by one.)
Students say it loudly and quickly.
Then ask the students more questions:
What do you like to eat?
What do you like to drink?
二、 New Concepts
1、What would you like?
⑴ Learn the new vocabulary: hamburger, hot dog, donut, ice cream.
① Learn the new vocabulary by showing the pictures on the screen
T: There are something different. Let’s see.
Show the pronunciation of each word, ask the students to repeat.
② Play a game: What’s missing?
T: In this game, one food was missing. Please find it.
T: What ‘s missing?
S3: …
Use this game to help the students to remember the new vocabulary.
③ Le’s guess.
- It’s cold and sweet. What is it? ( ice cream)
- The dog is hot. What is it? ( hot dog)
- It’s round and sweet. What is it? (donut)
- It’s round. There is some chicken in it. What is it? ( hamburger)
⑵ What would you like?
① Show the picture of Part 1.
T: Jenny and Li Ming are hungry. They want to order some food. (Point to the clerk) Who is she?
Ss: The shop clerk.
T: How to order some food in Canada?Let’s listen.
Play the audiotape and ask the students follow along. Then ask the questions:
What does the clerk say?
What does Jenny say?
Write the sentences on the board. Ask the students opening their books, Read Part 1 follow the tape.
T: Let’s role play. Boys will be the clerk. Girls will be Jenny.
Boys: What would you like?
Girls: I’d like…
T: In KFC or MacDonald, the clerk can ask you: What would you like? You can answer: I’d like… to order.
Write the sentences on the board. Then read it.
② Introduce a\ an\ some.
T: How to use a\ an\ some? Please look at these words.
T: ( Point to P3)These words are singular nouns. The blue letter pronounce \p\ \k\ \b\, we say “a” for one. Read it, please.
Ss: a pear …
T: Look at the red letters. They are vowel sounds. we say “an” for one. Read it, please.
Ss: an apple …
T: How to use “some”? Look at these words.
(P3左侧词汇) They are plural nouns, we say some…

uncountable noun, we also say some …
Read them together.
③ Exercise:
Match them ( an exercise about a\ an\some.)
④ Pair work
Here comes our friend Danny. Let’s ask him.
T: Hello, Danny.
D: Hi, Lily.
T: What would you like?
D: I’d like a hamburger, a hot dog, ten donuts and an ice cream, please.
T: Are you a Big Belly?
D: Sorry. I’m hungry.
Let’s ask and answer in pairs.
2、 Let’s chant.
⑴ Listen to the audiotape.
⑵ The students read the chant line by line, then chant the words together.
⑶ Change the words.
Please take out your food cards and choose two of them you like. The teacher makes a model.
Game: Let’s order some food.
Let’s play a game. Let’s say this is a restaurant. We are the customers. Who have this menu? Please the clerks. Walking around the classroom, help the customers ordering their food and finish the menu.

⑴ Play the audio for Part 3, talk about the picture:
What does Jenny have?
What’s Danny’s favourite food?
Danny’s says “Thanks.” What
does Jenny say?
Talk and show the sentences one by one. Then role play.
⑵ Role play.
⑶ Let’s play
Show the pictures, ask the students to read. So many delicious food, do you some? We can say “ May I have …?”to get it. Don’t tell Danny, he’s always hungry. ( Danny comes here.)
D: Hi? May I have some dumplings?
T: Sure.
D: Thanks.
T: You’re welcome.
D: May I have some donuts?
T: Danny, don’t eat too much. That’s bad for your health.
D: Sorry.
Talk in group of four. Then act.
4、 Homework
You will have a party. What do you need? Talk with your partners and finish the list.
