本课时教学是依据小学英语PEP教材六年级下册第四单元B部分Read and write设计而成,为读写课,“Read and write”为本单元前四课时所学基础知识的练习与运用。
二、学情分析
在六年级下册Unit2和Unit3中,学生已初步学习了一般过去时的陈述句、一般疑问句、特殊疑问句,并在本单元前四课时中,学习了如何谈论过去到现在发生的变化、描述自己与他人的变化,本课时重在复习、练习以上重点内容。
六年级学生对于学习英语的兴趣有所下降,但自制力较低年级学生强。能听懂课堂活动中简单的提问;能听懂常用指令和要求并做出适当的反应;能正确朗读所学短文;能体会到英语学习的乐趣;在学习中集中注意力;敢于开口,表达中不怕出错误;积极参与各种课堂学习活动,积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。

四、教学目标与要求
1. 能够通过讨论动物的速度和自己的情绪回忆已知的相关话题背景知识及话题词汇。
2. 能够在短文中捕捉不同类型的信息,提炼主旨大意,并进行简单的推理。
3. 能够根据阅读所获取的信息完成短文梗概,将短文转化为对话形式;能够从短文中找到核心词汇与句型,仿写自己的梦。
五、教学重难点
能够读懂短文内容,并完成读后题目。
六、教学过程
Step 1: Warming-up and revisin
1. Greet the class as usual.
2. T: Yu had a graduatin ceremny in the mrning.Are yu happy? ,t. Yu are ging t graduate frm primary schl. During the past 6 years, yu’ve changed a lt.Mike has changed a lt ,t. Tday we will cntinue Unit 4 Then and nw B Read and write. Befre the class, let’s listen t a sng: Changes in me.
3. Play the sng . Students just listen.
4. Play the sng again. Students answer this questin : Hw did Mike change?
Step 2:Presentatin
Befre –reading
Shw sme pictures f sme sprts players
T: What are they ding? They are having a race.(Teach the new wrd :race)
(2)Shw the pictures f a dg,a tiger,a lin and a cheetah. Teach the new wrd:cheetah and lead students t answer: Which animal can run faster?
(3)Shw the picture f Wu Yian in bed t help students knw Wu Yifan had a dream.and shw the three pictures . Students lk and guess:
What happened in Wu Yifan’s dream?
2. While-reading
(1) Fast-reading
Students read the passage quickly,then number the pictures.
(2) Careful-reading
Read carefully and answer the fllwing questins:
Why was Wu Yifan wrried?
What happened when Rbin gave him sme water?
Why did he wake up?
(First, play the tape,Students listen. Then ,Students read by themselves and answer the questins.)
(3) Third-reading
First,Students read after the teacher.
Then,Students read tgether with the teacher.
(4) Students listen and fill in the blanks.
First, read the cnversatin between Wu Yifan and his mther and guess the answers.
Then ,play the tape,students just listen.
Next, students listen and fill in the blanks
Finall, check the answers by having students act ut the cnversatin like this:
Wu Yifan: I had a dream last night.
Sarah: What did yu dream abut?
Wu Yifan: I dreamed I had a race with my father and Max.
…

Reflectin after class:
阅读课重在培养学生阅读能力和阅读技巧。对于阅读课,我一直都有一种忐忑不安的心情来对待。阅读课很难上出听说课的活跃气氛,但为了挑战、提高自己,我选择了这节阅读课。我按照阅读课的模式一步一步去设计教学步骤,在对每个活动的设计上也是经过认真的斟酌,根据教学模式中每一步的目的去设计。层次递进的设计了阅读课的教学步骤和教学活动。由简单到难的阅读任务设计,以及阅读任务的变换,降低了文章的难度。
下面我就这节课具体分析一下其中的不足。
一、环节与环节的过渡上还明显的不够好,语言不够精炼。一些知识完全可以放手让学生自己去攫取,自己可以稍加引导或点拨即可。
二、阅读方法技巧上,指导的不够全面。缺乏面向全体的指导。
三、在分层教学上,做的也不够明确。设计的题目要有梯度,题目要让学生有选择性。
总之,缺点不少。但通过自己的亲身体验,确实也锻炼了自己。使自己的业务能力与教学水平有所提高。在以后的工作中,我会再接再厉,努力提高自己的教学水平。Unit4 Then and nw
