一 There be 结构 表示 某个地方有……
1) 描述某处有某人或某物的句型
There be+某人或某物+某处
例句：There are some books on the desk.
2) There be 就近原则 即 根据距离be动词最近的名词来选择合适的be动词
（is ,are, was, were）
注意不看some ,a lot of….,只看距离There be最近的名词，单数不可数用is, was,复数用are, were


例如 1 There is an apple on the desk.

2 There are some pineapples beside the coconuts.

3 There are a lot of trees in front of my school.

4 There were 3 pictures in my bag yesterday.



二 cross，across（都有穿越，穿过的意思，用法不同）
① cross 是动词 穿过。
例： cross that street 穿过那条大街。
② across 是副词，已经穿过去，在…的对面。指从一个平面的一端到另一端，如： across the street 在街道的对面

三 词汇及固定搭配
1 look at 看…. Look at the picture.
2 build 动词 建造 building 楼房，建筑物 tall buildings 高楼

3 community 社区 communities 复数
There are many buildings and nice places in the community.
社区里有许多建筑和好地方。
