Step 1:Greeting
Greet the class as usual and check the hmewrk in the last class.
Step 2:Lead-in
At the beginning f the lessn, the teacher will shw a vide f a big cncert t the students. Ask students t think abut the fllwing questins and invite sme f them t share their answers.
(1)What musical instruments did yu see in the vide?
(2)What are these musical instruments in English?
(3)What ther musical instruments d yu knw?
Step 3:Presentatin
Play PPT and shw pictures f these fur instruments in part 1a.

Step 4:Practice
(1)Lk at 1a, ask the students t match the wrds with the pictures.
Play the recrding in part 1a. After listening, number the wrds [1-4] in the rder f the sunds yu hear.
Check the crrect answers with the class.
Listening
Ask the students t lk at the wrds and phrases in 1d and the frm in 1e first, then play the recrding fr the first time. After that, let the students try t cmplete the tasks in 1d and 1e, then play it fr the secnd time, let the students check their answers again. After 2 minutes, the teacher gave the crrect answers.
Play the recrding in part 1d again, ask students t wrk with their partners, talk abut what Bill,Cindy and Frank can d and can't d, fr example:
-Can Bill play the guitar?
-Yes, he can, but he can't sing.
Step 5:Activity
Divide students int grups f tw, and ask them t play a questin and answer game abut the musical instruments. Yu can d it like this.
-Can yu play the vilin?
-N, I can't.
