On the second floor of a big garage in New York City, 63-уear-old Nelson Molina was listening to a CD he had found in the rubbish. The song The Way You Look Tonight was playing through a music player. In fact, all the space was full of things strangers had thrown away. "My family kept everything." said Molina. "Now, people throw it all away." Molina, during his 34 years as a sanitation worker, gave these things a second life.
Molina grew up in a poor area with his parents and five other kids in the family and developed a habit of picking up things that could still be used at a young age. "My family was poor, so we didn't get much for Christmas," he said. "I'd go out to look for a toy for my sisters, or maybe a truck for my brothers," He kept his habit secret from his friends, but not out of shame, He just didn't want the competition.
On the job, Molina had his sixth sense for finding gems. He could tell whether a bag was full of bottles or a different kind of glass just by sound. He kept special finds on the truck, and then put them in out-of-the-way places in the garage. After almost 10 years, he began showing his discoveries. Recently, a team of New York University students has taken on the job of sorting the tens of thousands of objects, in the hope that the collection, which has hardly been open to the public, might one day be shown in a sanitation museum.

Humans have many instinctive behaviors. We can yawn and laugh from birth. Why? Maybe we can’t answer the question immediately. But we know that everyone yawns in the same way and laughs in the same way.
About yawning, we also know that it is contagious. When we see someone yawn, we yawn, too. Many people say that they yawn because they are bored or tired. Someone believes that the man who yawns a lot is lazier than other people. This might be true. However, we know that people also yawn when they are excited or nervous. For example, Olympic runners, often yawn before a race. Why is that?
Some scientists believe that yawning makes us be able to think or notice things quickly. When we yawn, we breathe more deeply. We also stretch the muscles in our face and neck. Maybe this makes us be careful of the things around.
About laughing, scientists say that people laugh about 17 times a day. They believe that laughter is good for us. Why? For one thing, laughter is good exercise. When we laugh, we exercise many muscles in our body. Scientists say that one hundred laughs equals ten minutes of running. When we laugh, we also breathe deeply. This helps us relax. That’s good for us, too.
Why do people laugh? That is a hard question to answer. We know that people laugh more often in a group. They don’t laugh very often when they are alone. Many scientists believe that we use laughter to connect to other people. Laughter helps us be part of a group in a short time.
Some people say that laughter is the best medicine. Some think that laughter helps sick people get well. Do you agree?

_____17_____ First, make your outside behavior the same with your inside feelings and thoughts. Second, share how you really feel about something instead of just opinions. Third, try to change your questions into statements and talk in the first person so that people will understand you more easily. Also remember that it is not suitable to be more open to everyone in every situation.
You can be more open to your close friends, but not to people you don't know well, because you are not sure how someone else will use what they know about you,_____19_____ If we say everything we feel or think to them, they will feel very uncomfortable at times.
