如果一个英语单词只有一个音节，就没有重音或轻快的问题。但如果是由两个或两个以上的音节组成，就有单词重音的问题。在英语单词中，除了一些复合词外，一个单词通常只有一个重读音节，用“‘”符号来表示，如：wrker  ['wə:kə]actr  ['æktə]until  [ən'til]repeat  [ri'pi:t]
